What recipes can I use white wine with?

I have a bottle of wine in the fridge that I don’t want to drink, but i dont want it to go to waste either. Please give me a good recipe with white wine.

Fish recipes are always good for white wine. You can also use it with chicken as a stock additive, along with the chicken broth. do not use it with red meat.

White wine traditionally goes with white meats like turkey, ham, chicken, scallops, stuff like that. You can pair it with steamed veggies taht would be great.

You can make a chicken casserole, and use the wine with some passata as the braising liquid. or you can slow cook lamb shanks with wine, tomato paste, baby onions, whole cloves of garlic and carrots. cook in a slow oven for about 3 or 4 hours. just flour and brown the shanks first, then brown the onions. then fry off the tomato paste, deglaze with wine, add salt, sugar, pepper and bay leaves.
