Yes. I am asking for recipes for other christmas goodies apart from cake and wine.
spiced apple cider – throw cinnamon sticks, a couple of cloves, grated nutmeg and orange peel and/or whatever sounds good to you in a piece of cheese cloth and tie. Place your apple cider in a crock pot and throw in the spices.
what are traditional recipes apart from cake and wine?

Never heard of that!
I suppose you could soften stale cake in a drop of wine then modge it up with soft cheese, maybe roll it into balls and coat with grated hard cheese or nuts, etc.
Christmas cake served with slices of Wensleydale cheese…….mmmmm……………
